ABOUT US

Founded in 2015 by Ruth (Meg) Oldman and Lucy Hinnie, the Medieval Makars Society is an academic society whose members endeavour to bring together scholars interested in the study of Scottish Makars Literature. The goal of this society is to heighten awareness of makars literature and to support individuals engaged in makars research and those who are intrigued by the contributions these authors have made to the literary world. We aim to provide resources to members for scholastic advancement and pedagogical development.

If you are interested in joining our society, please message us through the Contact Us page.  We look forward to hearing from you!
